Stamp To Share International Blog Hop

Hello there and welcome to our Stamp to Share Blog Hop.
It makes me smile reading that as the only stamping I did for today's project was a teeny tiny sentiment :)
Let me jump straight in with my project, this month's Theme was Balloons ....

I'll be honest, this card turned up nothing like I envisaged and nothing that I did to it could get it to what was in my head. Some days you keep trying and it doesn't work out, I can't be fabulous all the time *wink*

Still there's some cool things going on here.

I created a longer shaker frame from the Layering Square Framelits  and filled it with some of the yummy Sprinkles Embellishments . Before I attached it the base was sponged with Soft Sky and Pool Party in an ombre effect and splashed it with some water to create a bit more texture, I left the drops quite big on purpose so that you could see them amongst the small sprinkles.

A few punched up Balloons from some designer paper, some clouds from the Lift Me Up stamp set and a sentiment from the same set and my Ultra Quick WoN't Win You any Prize card was done !!!

Now let's just send you round the other fabulous designers on the hop and see what they have created for you.

Cool Treats Bundle from Stampin' Up! wasn't a set a played a lot with since I purchased it, and I found out why with this project. I just felt a little awkward creating with it, like it didn't quite fit me.  People always say to me YOU JUST LOVE EVERYTHING ! and by enlarge I do I just like pretty sets but sometimes I think I like something then when I get it I might have a wobble with it until I get a bit more comfy with it.

Once I was committed to using it though, I didn't fancy changing direction so I kept adding things until I was reasonable happy. I think the Sprinkles Embellishments made it :)

To adhere these to my project I used a few drops of Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue adding a sprinkle of sprinkles to my raspberry ice cream, actually it was Flirty Flamingo with a touch of Melon Mambo. The caramelised cone was stamped in two colours for depth as well and these were Delightful Dijon and Cajun Craze.

The base card was also Flirty Flamingo and I have accented my pocket with the matching Tasty Treats Speciality Designer paper and some of the Flirty Ruched Ribbon. You can purchase the Envelope Punch Board in My Online Shop.

I cut a layer of Sahara Sand with the Stitched Shapes Framelits,  and white embossed the sentiment. I chopped up a doily just because I felt it needed something behind it but I am not sure it does anything toit, one thing for sure it was not as nice without.. so I left it.
